About the Journal

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word document file format.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the

Author Guidelines

Manuscript should not be more than 8000 words in length. Brief communications of 1500 words or less are also welcomed on particularly topical issues in the field. The font type of text is Times New Romans, 12pt. and the font type for title of article is Times New Romans, 12pt bold.
The first page of the manuscript must contain the following information: Title of the article, Name(s) and affiliation of author (s) complete address, including telephone and e-mail address. The second page of the manuscript should contain only the title of the article, an abstract, keywords and subsequently the text of the article.
The abstract should not be more than 250 words and to include:

    1. Purpose:
    2. Design/methodology/approach:
    3. Findings:
    4. Research limitations:
    5. Practical implications:
    6. Significance
    7. Originality/value:

The keywords should be informative and adds to the existing information available in the title and abstracts.

  1. Main section headings in the manuscript must be capitalized and bold and sub- headings under the main headings should be bold and in upper-lower case.

Figures, charts and diagrams should be kept to a minimum. And integrated within the text. They should be in either of these formats, MS power point, tif, jif, jpeg, bmp and sized to fit within a 15cm wide page.

Tables should present new information rather than duplicating what is in the text. Readers should be able to interpret the table without reference to the text.

Manuscript Format

All manuscripts should be submitted as a word document to;

Manuscripts should be double line spacing and 1.0 left and right margins. The style of reference of the manuscript should follow the American Psychological Association (APA), Seventh Edition.

Peer Review

All submissions to the journal are initially reviewed by the Editor-in-Chief. Manuscripts may be rejected without peer review if it does not fall within the scope of the journal or does not add new knowledge to the field of study. Manuscripts that are not instantly rejected are sent out for double-blind peer review, usually to two independent reviewers. Based on the feedback from these reviewers and the Editors' judgment a decision is given on the manuscript.

Plagiarism Check
All manuscripts submitted to Confluence Journal of Education and Knowledge Management will be subjected to plagiarism test using reputable plagiarism checker.

Open Access Policy

This Journal is an Open Access Journal Print and online version will be published as Open Access. Publishing open access means that your article will be free to access online immediately on publication, increasing the visibility, readership and impact of your research. All works (including texts, images, graphs, tables, diagrams, photographs and statistical data) may be used for non-commercial purpose, citing appropriately the original work.
